Loss of a loved one

I lost a very important family member this last month, just before Christmas. My cousin, David, became ill with something that the doctors could not nail down, and when they did nail it down it was Renal Cell Carcinoma. Not JUST Renal Cell Carcinoma, but the most rare (1% of patients) and the most aggressive type . . . Collective Duct Renal Cell Carcinoma, or sometimes called "Bellinni's Carcinoma". He was actually diagnosed in early September and at that time the docs gave him a year. Then with complications after chemo treatments x 12, just made him more weak and more ill. When he died, I felt like I was waiting to exhale. He was more like a brother than a cousin, and it has been difficultl
Now, with that "out of my system", I have decided that Monday morning my studio is going to be buzizng! I know that there is one piece that I'm going to create and dedicate to his memory and gift it to his wife.  So, my motivation has began to pick up and I will try my best to keep it going.
If anyone would like to talk about any difficulties that have affected their work, let me know, we can "sit down" and talk about it together and heal.
